Don’t Insult Other People’s Intelligence if You Are Stupid

…and we’re all stupid about most of the fields of study in the world. This post is brought to you by a tweet I saw today in which people are all bashing the president for congratulating the Kansas City Chiefs “from the great state of Kansas”. They’re, of course, from Missouri. Now, if you don’t like football… and I’m willing to bet Donald Trump does not… you have a 50/50 chance as to which side of the city the Chiefs hail from. I, personally, associate Kansas City with Missouri as does I’m sure most of America (anybody who ever even bothers to think about it, that is) but I can understand how you’d get that wrong.

People always attack Trump for mistakes like this. Sure, we expect better from our presidents… but we all make mistakes that are just as dumb more than a few times a day. He just has the misfortune of having all of his analyzed by CNN for 12 days straight. I mean if you had asked me which teams played in the Superbowl an hour ago I wouldn’t have been able to tell you. Now I know one of them.

  1. I think everyone could learn from this post and be a bit nicer. It’s sad seeing the world today and how quick everyone is to analyse and criticise. I love posts like this that get you thinking! Thank you for sharing ☺️

  2. I totally agree it’s easy to over analyse everything someone says and pick it apart but instead we need to find a way to say things in a kind manner to one another whether you agree with the person or not.
